Facelift, necklift, submental liposuction, rhinoplasty and otoplasty can all contribute to a more female appearance of the face.
Earlobe correction
If the patient has very big earlobes a wedge might be excised.
Facelift, Necklift and submental liposuction
Face- and/or necklift can be helpful in patients over 40 years of age. After jawcontouring and chinplasty the amount of skin can easily become exceeding and needs to be reduced. In those cases we perform a face- and or necklift with only limited undermining of skin and SMAS (subdermal layer) to avoid long procedures and risk of damaging the facial nerve.
With very thin suction tubes submental fat can be removed after injection of a solution that disconnects the fatcells.
Dental feminization
In a patient with healthy teeth this would involve orthodontics, prosthetic dentistry making crowns, and maybe even orthognatic surgery. For most patients this would be far too extensive treatment for the relatively small feminizing effect it would have.
In patients wearing full dentures, or patients with a desolate natural dentition, a feminizing effect can be achieved by new dentures or fixed bridges on implants.
