We offer our patients the service of showing how surgery might change their face. Computer imaging techniques are used to alter your pictures according to the operations proposed.
Alexandra is an independent FFS advisor (www.virtualffs.co.uk) and performs the simulations for our patients. She is a male to female transsexual herself and has undergone several FFS procedures.
She has been fascinated by the structural differences between male and female faces for most of her life. She researched the subject first through an interest (not professional) in anthropology, archaeology and human anatomy and later through the thousands of resources available on the internet. She is also an artist specialising in female portraiture and this combined with an expertise in the digital restoration of photographs enables her to perform these simulations with a reasonable degree of confidence. She has been doing virtual FFS for 5 years and has performed many hundreds of virtual FFS procedures on all kinds of faces. She continues to refine her techniques and to improve her assessment skills.

Alexandra has created this simulation on a celebrity to show you an example of what she can do.
She also narrowed Keanu’s neck a little to simulate muscle loss from HRT and she has reduced his slight beard shadow while adding a little touch of eyeliner.
Notice just how subtle the procedures are. His brow bossing is fairly mild and he already has full lips.
Remember, this is not a computer game in which men are made to look like women. It is an attempt to illustrate how much a male face can be feminized using modern surgical techniques. The effects can be subtle and limited but they are often enough to make a huge difference to a transsexual’s passability.
